The Power of Three: MOVE, MUNCH, MIND

What have you done for yourself lately?  Do you treat yourself with the same love and compassion you treat your family and friends? 

Is it easier to neglect sleep, nourishment and meditation than to say “no” to someone or something?  Let peace begin on earth, but let it begin with you.  Thinking globally and acting locally starts with how you care for and treat yourself.  Be gentle but stern with yourself when it comes to health.  I give you permission to welcome self-compassion, the roots of which can be translated to “self with passion”. As my radiant friend and teacher Heidi Robbins writes, “I want to be a SELF WITH PASSION, don’t you?  I want to live with…an intense desire or enthusiasm for something and have it imbue every cell in my well cared for body.  If we fuel ourselves with love, we can offer our gift ten-fold.” 

We developed the Prime Method’s Power of Three to support our own gifts of love and health while we encourage and support yours.  Happy Holidays.

MOVE - Movement, balance and strength skills + purposeful exercise progressions at your own pace.

The three components of The Prime Method exercise system are WARM UP, WORK OUT and COOL DOWN. Prepare for your workouts by activating the nervous system and intelligently moving each joint through its full range of motion.  The Body Weight, Kettlebell and Club workouts are unique and fun, but most importantly, emphasize proper technique, skill building and injury prevention.  With four different levels of each exercise: MINDFUL, MIGHTY, MEGA and MONSTER you can develop highly sophisticated movements at your own pace. Finally, in order to recover for your next workout, un-load the stress in each joint and muscle with our compensatory yoga cool down.

MUNCH - What, when and how much to eat + daily tracking of clean, vital foods.

Every detail matters when it comes to eating for health. The Prime Method provides low-glycemic, never-hungry, never-stuffed, clean, simple, vital meal plans and recipes. With our support, you’ll learn one of the most essential elements to effective transformation: daily tracking.  We believe digestive health precedes any effective training, so when you’re trying to get healthy and fit, creating an optimal environment in your gut will make you feel better, look better, move better.

MIND - Manage sleep quality + quantity, mood and stress for greater overall physical health.

Your state of mind, your sleep, your mood, your hormones, your temperament, your support system, your background, your passion, your courage, your drive:  acknowledging by careful self reflection and daily tracking how profoundly important these factors are in the creation of a healthy lifestyle, and realizing how they contribute to and enhance your physical health, is the only path to achieving perfect balance.
